Junckers Black Oak Boulevard is a remarkably rich, very dark floor in solid hardwood Oak on Junckers’ widest plank yet, 185 mm. Black Oak offers the aesthetic of walnut, with the additional benefits of being harder, less costly and easier to source.

Black Oak is ammonia fumed, with dark colouration drawn deep through the wood by a unique vacuum impregnation process ensuring the colour will withstand wear and can be sanded and resealed without losing its good looks. It comes pre-sealed with Junckers Ultra-Matt lacquer, a hardwearing finish with a natural lustre similar to traditional oiled floors which adds warmth and beauty to a room.

Junckers have added three new pale floors to their Design Collection. Part of their Scandinavian Nature range of solid Oak wide planks, these new floors have a brushed, textured finish combined with that coveted bleached wood look.

The three shades available vary tonally in both warmth and brightness ranging from the silvery white Glacial White to Frosted White which has a bit more colour and Antique White which is warmer, more golden.

Glacial White, Frosted White and Antique White are available on 20.5mm thick solid Oak planks in a choice of three widths: 129mm, 160mm and 185mm.

Junckers solid wood floors have been chosen as part of a global supply agreement with H&M flagship stores. Working closely with the fashion chain’s store designers, Junckers supplied one of their premium hardwood floors pre-finished with a very durable black oil stain which delivers a striking look to the shop interiors.

 In such a high traffic area, durability and maintenance were key considerations resulting in Junckers developing a special, very fast drying water-based Top Oil that can be applied very easily by cleaning staff on a regular basis.

 Junckers can create custom floors, colours and finishes for special projects, a service that is very popular, especially with the retail and leisure industry.
